Reader in German Linguistics and Literature and in English
Linguistics at the University of Timisoara (1991-1999) and at the University Spiru
Haret Bucharest (associate professor 1999-2010, then 2011-2016 full professor).

Since 2016 full professor of German at the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest. Also tenured part-time teaching contract the University of Vienna (1999 - present).

University of Timisoara (lic. phil., 1988), and at the "Heinrich Heine" University Düsseldorf (M.A., 1996; Ph.D., 1998).
