I am a conservation scientist interested in using spatial and statistical tools to study the impact of human activities on biodiversity and develop effective conservation strategies. My recent research has been focused on evaluating the efficacy of protected areas and other area-based conservation measures in reducing anthropogenic pressures on biodiversity. Additionally, I am actively involved in the field of soundscape ecology, developing methods for analyzing acoustic data to monitor vocalizing animal communities in biodiverse regions.
I am proficient in the R Programming Language and ArcGIS Pro and I am an experienced user of Python and QGIS.
I currently serve as an Associate Editor for Conservation Science and Practice, Ecological Solutions and Evidence, and Frontiers in Conservation Science (Global Threats Section).
Degrees
