Dr. Charalambos Chasos currently holds the position of Associate Professor in Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) at the Mechanical Engineering Department of Frederick University. Dr. Chasos' current research includes CFD modelling, simulation and validation of fuel injection from high pressure Diesel, gasoline and gas injectors in combustion chambers, and CFD simulation of combustion phenomena for conventional and alternative fuels (biodiesel, bioethanol, biogas, natural gas, hydrogen and ammonia) in ICE, as well as ICE emissions measurements and analysis.
