Bio

Anna Merry has been a member of the Arts and Communication Department of Frederick University since 2009. She currently teaches courses related to Interior Design, Lighting Design and Research Methodology while coordinating the PhD program in Art and Design Practices. Anna holds an MA in Design Innovation and a PhD focusing on Playful Interactive Experiences within Public Space from De Montfort University Leicester, UK. Her continuing Research and Practice surrounds Urban Studies and User Experience through Playful Design and her research has been published within international design journals. She is an active participant in local and international design conferences, workshops, festivals and funded research programs.
